Our behavioral health division, Mosaic Consulting, has been providing easily accessible services for children in foster care since 1998. In 2019, Mosaic Consulting's VOCA program began offering therapy, crisis intervention services and peer support groups for child and adult victims of crime. Licensed Mental Health Professionals use evidenced-based practices and therapeutic treatment modalities to help victims overcome trauma. We collaborate with survivors in developing specialized treatment plans to facilitate healing and recovery and promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being. |

BCFS Health and Human Services - Common Thread |

Common Thread is a program of BCFS Health and Human Services in partnership with the Texas Governor’s Office. Common Thread is a long term relational advocacy program. Our trauma-informed advocates offer safe, reliable relationship (utilizing TBRI and motivational interviewing as tools) to support youth who have been commercially sexually exploited, or who show strong indicators that maybe they have been. Common Thread serves anyone under the age of 22 in central and coastal regions, and under 25 in our Rio Grande Valley Region; we work with youth of any gender, nationality, and any citizenship status. We can dispatch to emergency situations within 90 minutes to 58 counties in Texas. |

Our emergency shelter offers a safe, family-friendly, and therapeutic place to escape family violence and sexual assault.
