Spring Lake Car Cruise

A fine arts foundry, a spectacular, non-public view of the magnificent, newly carved gorge at Canyon Lake, and a community market days are but a few of the delights awaiting participants in AACOG’s 2nd Annual Spring Lake Cruise on Saturday, March 24, 2007.

The Alamo area encompasses a variety of enjoyable touring opportunities.  The Alamo Area Council of Car Clubs are eagerly anticipating driving the back roads through the beautiful vistas and getting better acquainted with the friendly communities on AACOG’s second Spring Lake Cruise.  This car cruise has been expanded to include the picturesque community of Castroville, the historic Rio Medina Store, the Museum of Texas Furniture in New Braunfels, the Heritage Museum of the Hill Country (Dinosaur Flats) in Sattler, and the Guadalupe River Nature Trail downstream from the Canyon Lake Dam.  Many breath-taking views of Lake Medina, Canyon Lake and Lake McQueeney await cruisers as they wind eastward along the scenic byways.  Other welcoming communities include:  Boerne, Bergheim, Bulverde, Canyon Lake, Gruene, and Seguin. More than a dozen car clubs will be taking part in this event.
