Garden Ridge - 4th of July Parade and Picnic at the Park. Celebration will commence with a flag-raising Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the city park, followed by the Parade of Wheels at 10:30 a.m. Food will be served from 10:45 to 3 p.m., and a variety of activities are planned throughout the event.
Kerrville - 4th of July On The River Festival. July 4, 2007. Bring a picnic and lawn chairs and enjoy a 4th of July celebration on the Guadalupe River. Lackland AFB - Star Spangled Festival - festivities include a musical tribute, game booths, a children's carnival, food and a fireworks extravaganza. Gates open at 3 p.m. at the Lackland Amphitheater. The show, a free concert titled "The Fly-By" showcasing Tops in Blue will feature a musical tribute to 60 years of proud U.S. Air Force history, kicks off at 8 p.m., and the festival wraps up with a 20-minute firework extravaganza starting at 9:45 p.m. Attendees must have a valid photo ID and proof of car insurance. San Antonio - July 4th Celebration 2007 at Woodlawn Lake - The City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Parks Foundation will put on the area's biggest free Independence Day celebration, featuring games, food, musical entertainment, and fireworks at Woodlawn Lake Park, 1103 Cincinnati Avenue. Activities and entertainment begin at 10 a.m. The Salute to the Red, White, and Blue Parade starts at 11 a.m. The Air Force Band of the West performs at 6:30 p.m., and the evening ends with the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza at 9. San Antonio - 23rd Annual Fourth of July Patriotic Ceremony sponsored by the Granaderos & Damas de Galvez at the seating area provided by the Flag Circle on the hallowed grounds of the Ft. Schertz - Schertz 32nd Annual 4th of July Jubilee - Saturday, June 30 - Wednesday, July 4th 2007. Annual Fourth of July celebration with a carnival, arts and crafts show, silent auction, live music, and more. Events take place from 6 p.m. to midnight daily (Monday-Wednesday) at Pickrell Park. U.S. Air Force Band of the West's Top Flight rock 'n' roll band performs Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Schertz Civic Center, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building 5.
