The workforce development area has been renamed as a result of a state-wide initiative led by the Texas Workforce Commission for a more recognizable name and brand across the State of Texas. The new agency identity will now permeate across the state. For those who seek employment services outside of our service area, you will find it easy to locate your Career Center office because it will be called Workforce Solutions, wherever you are in Texas.
Highlighting the timing and relevance of the re-branding initiative, Chakib Chehadi, Executive Director said, “In moving forward with rebranding, we want to remind our customers that Workforce Solutions – Alamo staff will continue to provide quality Business Solutions and Career Centers, Childcare and Youth services at our 14 locations across the 12 county area of our region. In addition, we see the name change as an opportunity to reach out to all customers, employers and job seekers, as we re-commit to meet the economic and workforce development needs of our growing community.”
