-Turn off the lights whenever you leave your bedroom and the bathroom.
-Turn off the radio, television, computer, and video games when you stop
using them.
-Take short showers. They use less hot water than a bath.
-Check for problems like dripping faucets.
-Share rides with friends to after-school activities.
-Decide what you want from the refrigerator before opening the door - then
close the door quickly afterwards.
-If you're feeling cold in your home, resist turning up the thermostat.
Instead, wear a sweater or sweatshirt. (This applies to the winter
months.)
