The mission of the Alamo Area Clean Cities Coalition (AACCC) is to develop public and private partnerships that promote the national Clean Cities initiatives aimed at securing national economic, environmental, and energy security. The Coalition provides support for local decisions to adopt practices that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption by promoting alternative fuels and vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction.

If you can't avoid traffic, help reduce traffic through the RideShare program. If your commute is not a long one, burn calories instead of gasoline through the Walk & Roll program. Help clean-up the air while at work by participating in an Alternative Work Schedule. Employers can help make their workplace a commuter-friendly one by reviewing our Employer Options. Commute Solutions programs can also be applied to Schools, helping to protect the health and safety of students. Commute Solutions also provides More Helpful Information for those interested in transportation-related topics.

The Alamo Area Commute Solutions Program provides Commute Solutions services throughout the twelve-county region and is funded by the Texas Department of Transportation through the San Antonio-Bexar County Metropolitan Planning Organization.
