Upcoming Basic Peace Officer Academies

The next Basic Peace Officer Academy will be:

September 2008 – (2008C)

This is a part-time academy that operates from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each week until completion. The September Academy will be located at the AACOG Law Enforcement Academy, 8700 Tesoro Drive, Suite 600, San Antonio, Texas.

November 2008 – (2008D)

This is a full-time academy that operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each week, The November Academy will be located at the AACOG Law Enforcement Academy, 8700 Tesoro Drive, Suite 600, San Antonio, Texas.

Written Exam Testing Dates*:

October 7, 2008, 2 p.m.

October 14, 2008, 2 p.m.

All tests will be at AACOG and there is a $35 testing fee.

Fitness Assessments:
September 5, 2008, 10 a.m. (Academy)

September 19, 2008, 10 a.m. (S.A.P.D.)
PT Exams will be held at the SAPD Academy, 12200 S.E. Loop 410, San Antonio.
