College Credit

The AACOG Regional Law Enforcement Academy is an academically rigorous training program with one of the highest State Peace Officer examination first time pass rates in Texas.  This program has received recognition from Wayland Baptist University at San Antonio.  Currently, any graduate of the AACOG Peace Officer Academy will be eligible for a minimum of eighteen (18) semester credit hours towards their Bachelors degree upon enrollment at Wayland Baptist University at San Antonio. 

Further analysis of the total curriculum at AACOG by Wayland Baptist University may result in an increase in the amount of college credit granted.  A degree plan that is specifically designed for graduates of the AACOG Peace Officer Academy is currently in development.
