Housing TechnicianAACOG
This is a responsible, non-supervisory position which requires technical assistance related to the AACOG weatherization program. Duties include assessing home energy efficiency and monitoring the quality of weatherization improvements done to clients' homes relating to HVAC and mechanical systems; and ensuring compliance with both the work estimate and Department of Energy guidelines. Prefer High school graduation or its equivalent, plus certification in the state-mandated energy audits within one year of employment, and three years of related experience in HVAC and mechanical systems. Must have reliable transportation. Non-smoker. Hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., M – F. Salary $17.04 per hour. Closing date Friday, February 12, 2010, 4:00 p.m.
