Child Care Counselor - Seguin
This non-supervisory position is based in the Workforce Solutions - Alamo Career Center in Seguin, but travel to various rural centers required. Duties include determining or re-certifying eligibility of families for childcare services; providing on-going case management to families in the program; ensuring program compliance; and working with families to find childcare and enroll children in childcare centers. Prefer bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences, or a related field, plus one year of experience in social service, Child Care Licensing, child development programs, or a social services program. Reliable transportation required. Non-smoker. Salary $15.44 per hour. Hours 8:00 – 5:00 M-F. Deadline for applying is Monday, February 8, 2010, by 4:00 p.m.
