This is a responsible, supervisory position. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, education and training, or business or closely related filed and at least five years experience in law enforcement, including three years as a TCLEOSE instructor. Duties include coordinating and supervising training classes for Basic Correction/Pease Officer Cadet Classes; including management of class operations, schedules, adjunct instructors, equipment and supplies. Applicant must hold an Intermediate Peace Officer Certification under TCLEOSE Standards, and must hold a TCLEOSE Instructor Certification, or be qualified to obtain and complete the Instructor Certification course within 90 days of employment. Nonsmoker. Salary $1738.05 Bi-weekly. This is an exempt position. Open until filled.
