This Closed Landfill Inventory was prepared by the AACOG from information furnished by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), permitting records on file with TCEQ and the Texas Department of Health (TDH), and from aerial photography and GIS data developed by AACOG. The individual maps and legal descriptions of the closed landfills represent TCEQ’s and AACOG’s best judgment about the landfill’s location and legal description based on the best available information. No claims are made as to the positional accuracy or completeness of the data or its suitability for a particular purpose. The information in the inventory is not intended to influence the sale or purchase of real property. Furthermore since TCEQ and AACOG have inventoried only known or reported municipal solid waste landfills, TCEQ and AACOG make no representation about whether a specific tract of land may overlie an unknown municipal or other solid waste landfill.
