Workforce Solutions Alamo

The Alamo Area Development Corporation through Workforce Solutions-Alamo operates four full-service Career Centers in Pleasanton, New Braunfels, Seguin and Kerrville, and seven smaller, satellite offices in Bandera, Boerne, Hondo, Pearsall, Floresville, Fredericksburg and Kenedy to provide workforce services for employers and job seekers in the eleven rural counties of the Alamo. The Workforce Solutions - Alamo Board is among 28 local workforce boards located throughout the state.

AADC’s mission is to enhance the lives of all residents of the Alamo Region by working in mutual respect and partnership with all levels of government, the business sector, and the community at large to meet regional challenges and to create regional strengths. To accomplish this mission, the philosophy of the AADC staff is to utilize the work at the Career Centers to embody the mission of the agency and to enhance the lives of all residents, while strengthening partnerships to meet the challenges of improving the rural workforce, and to achieve the key goals that AADC has identified as critical to our success in the community. One key goal that AADC has identified as critical: To improve economic conditions and influence the economic and workforce development of the rural communities.

The Career Centers offer business and job seekers alike easy access to a broad array of employment and training services. Workers, employers, students, and those looking for a first job or returning to the workforce will find that nearly all services are offered at no cost:

Job Seeker Services: Job placement services including access to thousands of job postings, job search resources, and training.

Business Resource Services: Job posting and placement services, up-to-date information on the labor market and emerging occupations, recruiting, retention, training, tax and hiring incentives, and more.
