Transitioning from the Combat Zone to Police Work
This course is a use of force refresher class designed to provide awareness, resources, and practical demonstrations for law enforcement officers who have returned to policing their communities as combat veterans in the service of their country. Training includes discussion on the awareness and effects of post traumatic stress and includes reality based training in police use of force scenarios. Bring duty gear. No firearms or ammo in class. Dates (8) Active Shooter Refresher Training #2051 Officers must have attended active shooter training with either AACOG, the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Program, or have attended TCLEOSE approved Basic SWAT Training. Officers cannot register on-line for this course. Please register in person or via fax, 210-824-5881. Must provide a copy of officer credentials (Police ID) and proof of attendance of prior active shooter or Basic SWAT training when registering. Contact Richard D.
