How to Become an AACOG Academy Instructor

The AACOG Academy is always looking for qualified instructors who share our vision of Law Enforcement training. Qualified instructors are those who have a minimum of two years of practical law enforcement experience either as a Peace Officer, Corrections Officer, or Emergency Telecommunications Specialist. All AACOG Instructors must be TCLEOSE certified Law Enforcement Instructors, or be able to gain a waiver due to having equivalent specialized education and training.

The AACOG Academy is a student-focused organization that exists to provide the finest possible learning experience for our customers. We seek out those individuals who share this training philosophy. Furthermore, the AACOG Academy is looking for those instructors who have a balance of “real life” practical experience, as well as complimentary training, and education. We promote the use of creative, participative, training techniques that utilize all of the learners’ senses in the learning process.

If this description sounds like you, and you have been looking for a way to share your knowledge and experience with others who are either just entering our profession, or who are seeking to improve their knowledge, skill, and ability, then you should consider completing the attached forms and faxing them (210) 824-5881. You will be contacted for an interview shortly thereafter.
