Attendance Requirements

Students are expected to attend all class sessions. Students must have 95 percent attendance or better to receive a Certificate of Completion. Class will begin promptly at the time indicated in the schedule.

Schedule Changes

Administrative and practical considerations require a minimum of ten (10) students to provide a given class. Therefore, if fewer than 10 students are enrolled one week prior to a class start date, the class may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling.

If a class is canceled, or a revision to the time/date/location is made, every effort will be made to notify the students by telephone prior to the first class meeting. The Alamo Area Law Enforcement Academy reserves the right to cancel any class, or to revise any time/date/location/instructor.

Withdrawal from In-Service Class

Enrollment may be canceled without penalty if a written or telephone notification is received by the Academy office no later than 4:45 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the scheduled class.  Failure to notify the Academy of withdrawal will cause you or your agency to be invoiced for the entire tuition regardless of attendance.
