AACOG Government Services

To serve the members and citizens of AACOG by assisting to create a better economy, strong viable communities and informed and trained public officials.

To provide technical assistance and advocacy in the following program areas:

Economic Development: Provide technical assistance, research and data to both the public and private sector in the development of projects and plans, which create jobs and build a stronger economy.
Community Development: Assist cities and counties in developing public infrastructure, community facilities and parks and open space recreational sites.
Leadership Development: Provides workshop training to public officials in the areas duties, responsibilities, and growth management.
Government Service Coordination: Provides a point of contact to city and county staff and local elected officials on AACOG programs and resources.
