Temporary Natural Resources/Transportation Specialist

(AACOG)

The Alamo Area Council of Governments is accepting applications for a temporary Natural Resources/Transportation Specialist. Duties include assisting with air quality analyses, inventory of emissions sources, and conducting transportation studies. The candidate is required to prepare reports and presentations for meetings. Prefer student or graduate in Environmental Studies, Geography, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or related field. Ideal candidates are required to be skilled in verbal, written, and interpersonal communications. Computer skills preferred include GIS software, Windows, Excel, and Word. Plus experience working in a professional settings or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability. Reliable transportation required. Nonsmoker. Salary $12.00 per hour. Approximately 20-40 hours a week, M - F for six months .
