Homeland Security Coordinator

This is a responsible supervisory position that provides program support in the development, administration, coordination, and implementation of regional emergency preparedness, all hazards and Homeland Security programs.  Requires knowledge of and ability to coordinate grant programs, provide technical assistance to local governments, organize and conduct workshops, compare and evaluate grant proposals, and provide grant-monitoring assistance to assure compliance with Federal and State guidelines.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.  Prefer bachelor's degree in Homeland Security, Public Administration or a related field, and two years experience in Emergency Management or public safety programs. Non-smoker.  Salary $1,516.80 Bi-weekly.  Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Position open until filled.
