Bexar Aging Care Specialist
Duties
include managing, implementing, coordinating, and preparing procedures for the
caregiver or case management programs; conducting assessments via telephone or
in-person; providing counseling services; providing training, technical, and
informational assistance to individuals and subcontractors; tracking
expenditures; coordinating services with other agencies; and providing
resource information or referrals to elderly clients, persons with
disabilities and their family members, and/or caregivers for the Alamo Service
Connection program.
Prefer Bachelor's degree in social science or a related field,
plus two years experience in social services; or a high
school graduate. Benefits Counselor I certification required within the first
year of employment; training provided. Reliable transportation
required. Non-smoker. Hours M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary $1,246.40
