[ARCHIVED] TERP Clean Fleets Program Workshop Thursday, April 9 at 9:30 AM

On Thursday, April 9, 2020, at 9:30 am, the TCEQ will be hosting an application workshop in preparation for the opening of the Texas Clean Fleet Program (TCFP) under the Texas Emission Reduction Plan (TERP).  The workshop will be at AACOG’s Al J. Notzon III Board Room (8700 Tesoro Drive, Suite 100, San Antonio, TX 78217).

The TCFP is established to encourage an entity that operates a large fleet of on-road light- or heavy-duty vehicles to replace diesel-powered vehicles with alternative fuel (any fuel other than diesel and gasoline) or hybrid vehicles.  The replacement activities must result in at least a 25% reduction in NOX emissions compared to the baseline emissions of the vehicles being replaced.  The TCFP will fund projects within the Clean Transportation Zone of Texas.  For the AACOG region, this includes Atascosa, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Guadalupe, Karnes, McMullen, Medina, and Wilson Counties.

We hope you will join us on April 9 to learn more about this opportunity for large fleets to purchase new alternative fuel or hybrid vehicles!  This workshop is open to the public and RSVP is not required.

For more information, please visit www.terpgrants.org or call 800-919-TERP (8377).
