2020 Census Local Update of Census Addresses Operation (LUCA)

Wednesday, November 8, 2017

This LUCA training, hosted by AACOG, is an opportunity offered to local governments to review and comment on the U.S. Census Bureau's residential address list for their jurisdiction, prior to the 2020 Census.

This 4-hour training workshop will offer communities the opportunity review, update and correct the Census Bureau’s address lists and maps before the 2020 Census, to make each resident in your community count! Participation in the Census affects the number of representatives each state gets in Congress as well as the distribution of federal funds.
