The Caregiver Support
program targets individuals of any age who are caring for someone age 60 plus.
The Program provides:

Information about
available services
-
Assistance in gaining
access to services
-
Individual counseling,
support groups, and training to assist caregivers in making decisions and
solving problems

Respite care to
temporarily relieve caregivers of their caregiving duties and responsibilities

Limited
supplemental services that complement the care provided by caregivers, such
as:

Kinship Care Program
The Kinship Care Program,
another service under the Caregiver Support Program, offers services to senior
caregivers (age 60+) who are raising their grandchildren and other relatives
under 18 years of age.
Services include:

available services for themselves and their minor grandchildren/relatives, and
assistance in gaining access to services.

Individual counseling,
support groups, and parent training classes.

Respite care to allow
senior caregivers to take a break from their caregiving responsibilities.

Legal assistance and care
coordination.
