Writing for Dollars – Grantsmanship Training

 

What:         Grantsmanship Training Program:  A hands-on workshop where you can learn where to find grants, learn the fundamentals of writing proposal components, and develop a complete grant proposal. 

 

When:        July 28-August 1, 2003
8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Monday-Thursday), 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (Friday)

 

Where:       Alamo Area Council of Governments Board Room,
8700 Tesoro Drive, Suite 100, San Antonio, Texas 78217

 

Why:           In times of decreased funding and increased competition for funding of worthy programs, training on effective grant writing is vital to the success of an organization.

 

Who:          Novice and experienced grant writers from nonprofit organizations and government agencies.

 

Cost:           $775.00.  Limited half-tuition scholarships available for organizations with annual operating budgets under $300,000.  Advanced registration deadline is July 15, 2003.
